ideas for strut and spring replacement. must ride 'soft' for DD and RallyX

strut + springs
- JDM v7 takeoffs from JDMpartsTX - same as WRX ride height w/ camberplates

- spec-c v8 Takeoffs - stiffer than JDM V7s. same as WRX ride height w/ camberplates

- STi 04' springs and struts. only drawback is finding a low mileage example that doesnt clunk


- Tokido D-Specs
w/JDM pinks. - looks like the best for high ride height
w/ 05 STi springs. diff between pinks and USDM Sti springs needs to be researched a bit more.
w/ matched spring, stiff as the STi, no idea on ride height. kits runs $860. could be too low.

I guess I'll use this blog as a way to keep track of my car's progress overtime.

I'm currently at Cobb stage I and I love it. but the Precat has always bugged me because I know its a liability. I do have a second OEM uppipe that I'm planning on gutting. but if I'm going to gut it, might as well go for stage II eh?

my current path as goes the following:

Prodrive Rally Flaps, I'll be picking them up today at lunch :>

EDM WRC Style Front Lip

Suspension work, STi Springs and alignment

steering rack bushins

Rally innovations Big Foglight Kit

Gague Cluster: either a PSi3 digital gague or a maddad set

Crucial Downpipe and highflow cat and maybe a proper uppipe if I feel up to it.

and finally, maybe some random bling like prodrive carpets when these wear out. rally armor underbody protection and Prodrive rear diff guard if I decide that I want to make RallyX something I want to do more often. and when the struts go, I'll be looking for some JDM take-offs or STi Takeoffs. and maybe some kind of sat nav / DVD ice.
